⚠️ Occurrence note: Santolina chamaecyparissus L. is reported as introduced in Lebanon by Ramy Maalouf (personal communication), with a recorded locality at Kfertay. POWO lists its native range as Italy and the northwestern Balkan Peninsula; Lebanon-Syria is not currently included in its published list of introduced areas. The degree of naturalization remains uncertain.
